Burning Energy

burning energy?

what are some things i can do to burn my chihuahua's energy? she is so hyper.. shes only 3 mounths old

1. With our chihuahua we had to play nonstop for the longest times with her. We got her at 8 wks old and she was wayyy active so we'd take her outside for 30 minutes at a time, she'd go potty and then we'd play. It never really seemed to wear her down but she did get less hyper as she got older. A lot of it is puppy I think, at 3 months old she's going to have a lot of energy.
2. Just play a fun long game of hide and seek or play a game of fetch!!!
3. Join a puppy play group. some pet stores have them for puppies, they play with others for about an hour. When I need energy burned off my dog I take her to the dog park. She likes to get other dogs to chase after her. Burns more energy then me walking her. Also, laser pointers works good with my dog, when I am tired. With my dog, mental work (training) tires her out too. Maybe start to teach her some commands, or sign up for a class. 40 minutes into an hour class my dog was tired. She would then sleep for a few hours after class
